The skills that I have gained in English 0750, I believe will definetly help me in my future English classes as well as different writing classes. The lessons were very well taught and precise. I was able to understand and use everything that was shown to me. I like that things were put into perspective to where anyone could understand and not be confused about the lessons. These skills that I have acquired will show in my future writings and help me to grow. I’m hoping that it will show in my work and papers that I write. I think Mr. Turner did such a good job that i’m taking English 0950 with him in the summer semester. Yay! See you in May.

At the beginning of the semester i was uncertain about how my writings would be and how good I would write them. I have noticed that throughout the semester I have gotten better and understood more about writing a good paper. The assignments were also a big help and helped me to better understand how and when to use certain punctuations. A lot of the things we learned I had learned before but didn’t remember them. And then there were some that I didn’t know and was glad to learn and apply to my assignments. I think this has been a good semester for me and I feel I have advanced in my writings.

Choosing my 3 projects for the portfolio was kind of a hard thing. I feel that I have done a good job on all of my projects. But for the first one I picked my application, because I have been working on perfecting my resume since I was in high school and for the first time I feel that I finally did it. For the second project I picked my review. The review was probably the most challenging for me and I was a little nervous about the grade I was gonna receive, and again to my surprise I did surprisingly well. And for my last project I picked my instructions, just because I felt it was a point of my life I was proud of and could explain my job well. So overall putting together the portfolio was interesting.

the portfolio process has been easier than i expected. It’s easy when you get all your work done throughout the semester and revised in time. It also helps to show up to class, so you can get a better understanding of how the assignments should be done. I noticed that my writings have improved in my revisions and future work. At first Iwas a little worried that I was not going to do a good job, but when I got started on the project it turned out that I wasn’t as bad as I thought I would be. So the I looked forward to the next project after doing a good job on the first one.

I am very excited to turn in my portfolio, i am pleased with the work i’ve accomplished in this class. I like the feedback on my paper’s, it’s helped me to better understand and to know what i could do better. I liked it so much i’m taking English 0950 with Mr. Turner again in the summer. With this semester being my first one back in college, it has been a great semester for me and i feel that i’m very capable of achieving my goals. It also really helps having good instructors that point you in the right direction.

Today i started my new blog page, it was cool, never done anything like this before. This is a cool new way of doing journal entries and looks like it will be very effective.
The whole revision process, that we as a class, have been able to do with all of our work. I really like, it’s really good feed back and gives us a chance to correct and learn more about the work. This has shown me that english isn’t as scary as i remember it being.
